Welcome to June for Juanita  June for Juanita is a fund raising project for the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation (RCH Foundation) conducted by the Lindsay family, along with supporting committee, in memory of their youngest daughter Juanita, who died of cancer in August 2007. On 1st June 2010, which would have been Juanita's 21st birthday, her father David will embark on a solo sailing trip from Brisbane to Cairns in a 3.6 m Caper Catamaran. The aim- to raise funds for the Royal Children's Hospital, Brisbane Australia.

After much consideration, the June for Juanita committee has made the decision to extend the fundraising period for June for Juanita, and to postpone the sailing venture 12 months for a start date of 1st June 2010. The decision was made in order to allow more time for important fundraising and to align more corporate sponsors with the initiative. All sponsorship and pledges still stand and will be carried over to the new start date of 1st June 2010 for the sailing venture.
